700 South 4th St

Famous 4th Street is a classic Jewish deli, and one of the few in Philadelphia that has survived the 21st century. Established in 1923, it is a neighborhood landmark, and has long been the preferred lunch spot for Philadelphia's politicians, power brokers and dealmakers. Owned by three generations of the same family until 2005, the deli was recently carefully restored by its new owners.
