2nd and Christian Streets
David O’Donnell moved to Philadelphia from Valley Forge because of a passion for art, culture and fashion. He moved to Queen Village for a love of history. He can now claim as his abode a centuries-old colonial house at 2nd and Christian Streets. His eyes get a little dewy when he thinks about how many other historical homes were sacrificed for the construction of I-95 in the 1960’s. He has exercised his love of the neighborhood by serving on the board of the Queen Village Neighbors Association for many years. He has spent his time there overseeing the busy intersection at 2nd and Christian Streets and trying to bring safety and quality-of-life improvements to the area.
